Below is my original paper on covid-19 written in March, April and May of 2020, starting at the very beginning of the harmful and misguided policies of social isolation, solitary confinement, and viral containment. Click "Download File" to download it. Since then I have written several papers and my prediction that mortality rates would drop dramatically went even lower than I would have predicted. In young people the rate is less than chickenpox, as documented by two extremely large sets of data: An analysis of nearly 400,000 cases of covid-19 in college students, and an analysis of the entire country of Germany, also focused on young people. Note that this extraordinarily low risk was found starting in the very beginning in Wuhan, China, with early variants of the virus, thought to be more dangerous than the current variants such as omicron.
